Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting into the General Manager,

Responsible for all the financial functions of the organization. This includes all main functions i.e. oversee creditors, oversee debtors, treasury, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and facilitating the annual external audit.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

 

·        BCom Accounting Sciences or BCom Accounting Sciences (Hons), or newly qualified CA

·        3 years’ work experience or completed articles

·        Specific work experience: Experience in calculating VAT & other Tax position and preparing for submission of periodic VAT & Other tax returns. Experience in preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

·        Address compliance to all Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Treasury, Payroll and Fixed assets requirements

·        Analysis, Reporting, forecasting and budgeting of business results

·        Address compliance to all Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Treasury, Payroll and Fixed assets requirements

·        Analysis, Reporting, forecasting and budgeting of business results

·        Preparing relevant balance sheet reconciliations for review; compiling and processing of recharge-, salary and wages- and monthly entries
